- <p> He isn't Fabio, and he isn't one of those born-to-sail blonds
- who populate the pages of J. Crew catalogs. At a slight 5 ft.
- 9 in. tall, NICK MOSS, like his cover-waif sibling KATE, bears
- the passive mien of someone who lives on herb tea and tempeh.
- In fact he looks almost fragile. No matter. Nick, 16, an avid
- soccer player who has broken his nose four times on the field,
- is entering his late adolescence as Moss Family Supermodel II,
- thanks in part to a career launch from the fashion-photographer
- boyfriend of his big sister. But having already done clothing
- ads for Versace as well as runway work for Calvin Klein, Paul
- Smith and Gaultier hasn't made Nick any less of an awkward,
- shy guy. Of his high-profile profession, he says, "It's unnerving.
- It's scary. All the people!"
